Finally got around to going to our static caravan at Littondale in the Yorkshire Dales. This is our first visit this year. Haven’t been here for over 3 months so really glad to be back. Filled the feeders and repaired the perches ready for the year. Didn’t take long for the birds to start appearing. It was the usual suspect to start with, Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Greenfinch.

There were also Great Tit, Lesser Redpoll, Pheasant and Nuthatch which I didn’t get any decent shots of. There was a surprise visit by a pair of Reed Bunting. The female kept to the bushes but the male finally appeared for a short while so manage a few shots of it.

On the trip home I did see a few Greylag Geese in the fields, so of course I had to stop and get a few shots.
