With all the recent bad weather the garden has been busy with the regular bird visitors. There has also been a few unusual birds as well. Over the last few days I’ve kept a record of the number of birds visiting each day. Although there has been 30 species I still can’t beat my day record of 25 🙁 Still, it’s nice to see such a great variety. Here’s a list of all I’ve seen:
1. Redwing, 2. Ring-necked Parakeet, 3. Bullfinch, 4. Goldfinch, 5. Jay, 6. Robin, 7. Dunnock, 8. Coal Tit, 9. Brambling, 10. Great Tit, 11. Siskin, 12. Blackbird, 13. Wood Pigeon, 14. Red Kite overhead, 15. Chaffinch, 16. Blue Tit, 17. Black-headed Gull, 18. Goldcrest, 19. Magpie, 20. Stock Dove, 21. Crow, 22. House Sparrow, 23. Blackcap, 24. Rook, 25. Greenfinch, 26 Nuthatch, 27 Jackdaw, 28 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 29 Reed Bunting, 30 Starling
Things should start changing now as the weather improves and breeding becomes important.
Here are a few shots that I’ve managed over the past week or so.
Once again, stunning shots. I’ve come to expect nothing less from you. I only wish I could achieve this level. Still trying…lol
Thank you Dave. Don’t undersell yourself, your shots are definitely getting better
beautiful clarity of bird but was hoping for some snowy background. Ha Ha
Thanks Lyneatta, they are there but very out of focus 😉
